This is a grant-funded position through December 2027. Continuation is dependent on additional funding. This is a part time position at 20 hours a week. Hours will typically fall between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some flexibility and will be determined upon hiring.

General Function - The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to program managers and supervisors and the department on moderately complex administrative duties as determined by the supervisor. The Administrative Assistant will assist staff with storing and retrieving information, will conduct administrative activities, may serve as the first point of contact for the department with students, faculty, staff, partners, and the public.
Description of Primary Duties - This position will be split between Community Focus program and Ozarks Public Health Institute general duties. It will include the following primary activities.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications - An Associate's degree or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of office experience is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required. Familiarity with professional use of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn is required. Experience with design platforms such as Canva or similar programs is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative, enthusiastic, friendly, strong team player. Self-starter who takes initiative, asks thoughtful questions, and enjoys learning. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Marketing and communications skills. Experience organizing volunteer groups or supporting community projects.
