We are currently seeking an experienced Banquet Manager who can bring their skills and knowledge to our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and overseeing various types of social and private events, as well as a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. Restaurant / Fast Food experience is not acceptable for this position . This role requires an individual with exceptional organizational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to deliver excellent customer service to up to 400 guests in a catering and banquet environment. You will be the "face" of our event venue with all Brides, clients and hosts.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure flawless execution of events.
. Schedule staffing while keeping within established budgets and guideline· Hire/Train/Supervise staff to ensure proper execution of events and high guest satisfaction
· Maintain regular and ongoing communication with all waitstaff throughout each given function, giving clear direction and responsibilities
· Organize pre/post event meetings with waitstaff.
. Host Pre and Post event staff meetings for assignments, side work...
· Work with the team to ensure compliance with food handling, table setting, and uniform standards, delivering quality service to guests
· Prepare, execute, and properly close events and respective event spaces.
· Responsible for scheduling staff, building operations, ordering and inventories.
· Attend weekly BEO meetings with Operations, Kitchen, Exec. Mgt & Sales Departments.
Qualifications:
· The candidate must have verifiable work experience consisting of 3-5 years in a catering management position .
· Flexibility in schedule is a must, including the availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
· The ideal candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of guest service, banquets/catering, and excellent leadership skills.
· The candidate should have excellent personal presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
· The candidate should be a team player, working with guests and team members.
. The successful candidate will interact with clients and guests throughout the event to ensure satisfaction.
