Cornerstone Staffing Inc is partnered with a growing insurance company that is is looking to add to their Underwriting Department for their commercial division. In this role, you'd evaluate risk for Workers' Compensation, Businessowners', Commercial Auto, Professional Liability, and Umbrella policies for small businesses.


The role requires that you live within the Pittston, PA area!


Compensation would be dependent on years of experience but would range between, $40,000-$50,000 per year.


Anticipated start date of Early May!


Key Responsibilities for the Underwriting role(s):

• Utilize company criteria and protocols to evaluate risk among many lines of business
• Perform independent verification of insured's operations
• Review and process change requests
• Participate in Underwriting Training for new products, directives and processes
• Participate in projects as assigned

Qualifications for the Underwriting role(s):

• Great computer skills and investigation/research abilities
• Bachelor's degree is required with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
