This role is primarily responsible for settling the financial aspects of our clients' tours for the agency. The duties of the role include, but are not limited to, confirming the accuracy of all settlement details (compensation, withholding tax, deductions) and acting as the liaison between our agents, clients, and clients’ business managers to ensure all tours are settled in a timely manner.Roles & ResponsibilitiesReview settlement details of shows and confirm artist was fully compensated for the show/tour – via funds paid to the agency, funds paid to the artist, or a combination thereof and process any applicable refunds due to cancellationsReview and verify applicable deductions and/or withholding tax that occurred at the sourceAssess and calculate The.Team’s liability to withhold non-resident withholding taxVerify and chargeback any expenses where applicablePrep and handle tour statements from start to finish – Send initial draft to agents for approval and follow-up on subsequent reviews/changes from artists management team. Resolve any issues or discrepancies to ensure The.Team and clients’ records are balanced. Submit statements due to clients and collect funds due to The.Team.Provide financial analysis for all artist advances and/or loan requests and oversee the disbursement and repayment of the approved advances/loansReviewing and overseeing Client Accountant, Assistant Client Accountant and Accounts Administrators workProviding training and support to up-skill new members and develop team membersAssist in identifying and labelling funds when neededMaintain highest degree of artists’ financial confidentialityTake on additional tasks and responsibilities as assignedRequirementsExperience with live events/touring experience is a plusDegree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experienceExcellent numerical and analytical skillsImpeccable communication skills (oral, interpersonal, and written)Ability to prioritise and meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot and to anticipate issues that may arise proactively and quickly determine next stepsA high level of self-motivation, autonomy and initiativeMeticulous attention to detailMust be able to effectively perform tasks in a fast-paced working environmentTHE·TEAM does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other reason prohibited by law in provision of employment opportunities and benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr Wasserman-Media-Group-LLC
