Job Description

Catalog Product Manager

The Catalog Product Manager is responsible for owning and evolving the enterprise product catalog that supports PepsiCo's digital commerce, supply chain, and customer-facing platforms. This role ensures product data is accurate, consistent, and structured to support pricing, availability, eligibility, and fulfillment across channels.

The PM will define catalog schemas, attributes, and hierarchies to enable scalable use across internal systems and external partners. They will translate business rules, customer entitlements, and operational constraints into structured logic that downstream systems can reliably execute. The role partners closely with engineering, data, pricing, supply chain, and commercial teams to keep catalog data aligned with real-time changes.

This role is responsible for improving data quality, governance, and operational efficiency of the catalog, reducing manual intervention and errors. The PM will support personalized and customer-specific catalog views based on channel, region, and contractual terms. They will define APIs and integrations that allow other platforms to consume catalog data reliably. Success is measured through adoption, data accuracy, issue reduction, and business impact such as improved order execution and reduced friction. The Catalog PM will also help evolve the catalog to support increased automation and future capabilities over time.

Responsibilities
  • Own the enterprise product catalog to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable product data across commerce, supply chain, and customer-facing platforms.
  • Define and maintain catalog structures, attributes, and hierarchies to support pricing, availability, eligibility, and fulfillment use cases.
  • Translate business rules, customer entitlements, and operational constraints into structured catalog logic consumable by downstream systems.
  • Partner with engineering, data, pricing, supply chain, and commercial teams to keep catalog data aligned with source systems and real-time updates.
  • Improve catalog data quality through governance, validation, and issue resolution processes.
  • Enable customer-specific and channel-specific catalog views based on region, contracts, and commercial terms.
  • Support integrations and APIs that allow internal platforms and external partners to consume catalog data reliably.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency through catalog-driven automation.
  • Define and track success metrics such as adoption, accuracy, issue reduction, and business impact.
  • Evolve the catalog roadmap to support new capabilities and increased automation over time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7 plus years of product management, platform, or related experience supporting enterprise or B2B systems.
  • Experience owning complex data-driven products such as catalogs, pricing, inventory, or supply chain platforms.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into structured product definitions, rules, and system logic.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, data, operations, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and event-driven data flows.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve data quality, governance, and operational processes at scale.
  • Comfort operating in large, matrixed organizations with multiple source systems and dependencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical partners.
