The Senior Director, Corporate Communications is responsible for shaping and executing the company's global communications and marketing communications strategy. This role is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that supports the company's business objectives, enhances brand reputation, and fosters stakeholder trust. In a complex engineering and manufacturing environment, this role ensures consistent, transparent, and impactful messaging across internal teams, customers, investors, media, and the broader public. This leader will oversee all facets of corporate communications, including employee engagement, executive messaging, media relations, crisis communications, and supporting financial disclosures—while serving as a key advisor to senior leadership. The Senior Director will play a critical role in shaping the company's narrative around innovation, operational excellence, sustainability, and safety. In addition, this role is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans that effectively promote the company's brand, products, and services across multiple channels. This role involves creating compelling content, managing campaigns, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring consistent messaging across advertising, public relations, digital media, and events. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling skills, a deep understanding of audience engagement, and the ability to translate business objectives into impactful marketing initiatives that drive awareness, loyalty, and growth. The communications team is part of Sensata's Growth and Transformation Office, and this role will report directly to the Executive Vice President and Chief Growth and Transformation Officer. This role is in our Corporate Headquarters in Attleboro, MA.
Base Salary Range: $213,600.00 - $293,700.00
