Parallel Production Supplies is a leading photo, film and video production supplies rental house located in Philadelphia. Parallel is an encompassing infrastructure solution with experienced technical staff in each department, high end production and radio equipment, pre-loaded trucks and vans, and a catered host of services.Parallel is currently seeking to fill the part-time position of Warehouse Rental Tech at our warehouse in Philadelphia, PA. As our Warehouse Rental Tech, you will be the primary point of contact for all productions in regards to their Radios, Production Supplies and staffing. The Warehouse Rental Tech will work under the supervision of the General Manager. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in production, specifically in regards to Production Dept needs. The Rental Tech is Parallels main line of communication to a production and must be able to work quickly and effectively to ensure a clients needs are being met. The ability to stay well organized and detail oriented is key to success in this position. Previous customer service or producing/coordinating experience is a plus. Parallel is looking for someone who is a self-starter and is committed to becoming an integral part of the Parallel brand. The Rental Tech is one of the most well known employees at Parallel and must be comfortable with forming strong relationships with our clients, vendors, and crew. Someone who is a fast learner is encouraged for this position in order to gain knowledge of our diverse client base and product offerings. Our staff is a creative, motivated, and inclusive group, and we hope to fill this position with an equally passionate, hard-working individual.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Serving as the primary rental contact for all orders taking jobs from inquiry through invoiceProviding above and beyond customer service to existing and potential clients from students to major motion picturesScheduling preps, returns, and exchanges for each job with the warehouse.Assisting the communications and accounting departments with billing and account set up.Resolving equipment shortages with transfers, sub-rentals, or purchase ordersWorking closely with Parallel's vendors to ensure seamless continuation of inventory and consistent service..Ensuring all orders are quoted accurately and jobs set out clearly for our warehouse teamFostering new and maintaining existing relationships with clients and crewWorking closely with crew and production to ensure all needs are met for orders to be executed accurately on time and on budget.Providing staffing services for productions.Publicly representing Parallel throughout the industry and participating in local meet ups, community outreach/events, and connecting with the industry outside of office hours.Qualifications:A minimum of 2 years experience working in film/tv production preferredKnowledge of most industry standard Production supplies and applicationsExceptional customer service and responsivenessStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong personal organization and time management skillsAbility to work under pressure and delivery consistent resultsExperience with Rentopian is a plusDrivers License
