Of Counsel- Insurance Defense Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney to join our team as Of Counsel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal practice, with a focus on providing expert advice and representation in complex legal matters. This role requires a deep understanding of various areas of law, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in a variety of legal matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
• Collaborate with partners and associates to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Stay current with developments in the law and maintain a high level of professional competence.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with a strong background in litigation, corporate law, or another relevant practice area.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
