Job SummaryStudent nurse (1st semester) assisting with basic patient care under RN/LPN direction on 1W.
Minimum Qualifications• Enrolled in ADN/BSN; 1st semester.
Preferred Qualifications• CPR certification.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Collect/monitor/report information; assist with ADLs.
• Infection prevention; safety risk reporting; teamwork.
Physical Requirements• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices.
• Assist with patient repositioning and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
• Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech.
