- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,290 - $3,900
- Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center

Job Requirements / Qualifications - Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) with current board certification (Neurosurgery experience preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of neurosurgery or advanced practice clinical experience required
- Clean malpractice history for the past 10 years (no open or closed claims with payments)
- BLS certification required
- Ability to complete credentialing within 90 days
- Active or eligible state NP license for California preferred (locum tenens credentialing)
Primary Responsibilities - Provide advanced practice care in the neurological surgery unit as a neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, trauma surgeons, stroke teams, and multidisciplinary staff in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patient care for neurosurgical cases, including pre- and post-operative care
- Participate in patient rounds, documentation, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary communication
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality of care, and compliance with clinical protocols
