Job Description

Medical Soldering Assemblers

Volt is immediately hiring for an Medical Soldering Assembler for a company located in Irvine CA.

As an Medical Soldering Assembler you will:

  • Assemble product based on drawings and sample assemblies
  • Work under a microscope
  • Package finished assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Meet standard output goals
  • Help and assist coworkers when needed
  • Read and write English
  • Read MPS and write notes as needed
  • Work with adhesives and bonding materials
  • Work with silicone components and materials
  • Work in a cleanroom environment following proper protocols
  • Work with PCB boards
  • Operate EFD dispensers for precise material application

This is a full time opportunity Monday - Friday + weekends as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Medical Device assembly
  • Soldering experience
  • Experience working with adhesives, bonding, and silicone materials
  • Experience working with PCB boards
  • Familiarity with EFD dispensers
  • Cleanroom experience

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED. • Basic knowledge of computers. • Basic knowledge of power, air, torque, and manual tools • Understanding of Mechanical and assembly concepts • Prior assembly experience preferred

Schedule: 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Days: Monday through Friday and occasionally overtime on Saturday

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
