Position Summary This position is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and repairs as assigned. This position reports directly to a Lead Mechanic. Position Responsibilities Performs maintenance and repairs in accordance with prescribed practices and procedures Must have an A&P Certificate Must have great attention to detail Completes required paperwork as directed Maintains clean shop and keeps organized as directed. The fleet includes: 8 x Cessna 172's, 2 x Piper Singles (Warrior & Arrow), 2 x Piper Twins (Aztec & Apache), 1 x Cessna 421, 2 x Robinson Helicopters (R-22 & R-66) Contributes to a safe work environment by reporting workplace hazards Ensures compliance with all 14 CFR part 91/141 regulations Position Qualifications Required Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English Previous Robinson Helicopter maintenance experience, R-66 preferred Must have knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations Must be able to work in confined spaces Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft Must be able to pass a company background and drug test Work Environment Flight-line and hangar at times in inclement weather Workaround chemicals, solvents, and paints Vali, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
