What will I be doing?

The Accounting Team also takes care of sister and subsidiary business units, so you will be working with more than just one set of accounting records. We believe in cross-training and over-lapping duties, so teammates can understand and lend a hand to one another. You will work in almost all areas of accounting. The idea is that you will get to do a lot; but you will not have to do it alone. Plenty of teamwork.

Who will I be doing it with?

You will communicate with and support just about everyone in the company when they need it. Apex Benefits' culture is one without a lot of borders and silos. The accounting team is small and closely allied with other administrative associates, so you will have friendly faces and support around. You will get to interface with our various suppliers and clients. You will work alongside Tim Musholt, Sarah Bauer and Randi Valdez.

How do I know I'm right for the job ?

Does rest of this job overview sit well with you? If so, we need someone with a good attention to detail who is not afraid to step into accounting tasks they have never done before. We use traditional accounting software and spreadsheets mostly, nothing fancy. We can teach anything you will need to know. An aptitude for basic accounting math and ability to follow established procedures is important.
